The Mrs. and I were sitting around watching the Olympics tonight and thought we really need a better solution to storing our wine instead of the $10 metal wine racks mounted on the wall from Ikea. But we couldn’t decide on what size wine refrigerator we should buy. Of course I wanted to buy a large wine cooler that holds more than 100 bottles while my wife favors the ten to twenty bottle storage solutions. Beyond the obvious issues of the increased space and energy consumed by a larger refrigerator, a 100 bottle cooler would let you have more variety on hand (my preference), while she prefers to search for more options at the market, which allows her to vary our bottles more from week-to-week.
