In honor of Halloween I decided to search for pumpkin wine, and found it at Maple River Wines in North Dakota. They describe the wine as a semi-sweet white with a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice, hand crafted from local pumpkins.  I’m not sure how this pumpkin wine will taste, but it sounds delicious and intriguing. Obviously I will not be able to sample this wine tonight on Halloween, but hopefully it will arrive in time for Thanksgiving.
