Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm recently signed a bill that prohibits retailers from shipping wine directly to consumers, and specifically bans the use of third-party delivery services like UPS and FedEx.  This prevents retailers like Wine.com from shipping wine to its customers in the state of Michigan.
