Mrs. Grapeinabottle sent me this great link about a company that makes wine cellars for your home, Spiral Cellars U.S. The cellars are essentially a spiral staircase leading underground, with the wine stored in bins on the walls. By placing the cellar underground, the earth acts as a natural cooling unit with special airflow pipes installed to keep the air from becoming stale. For added protection the walls of the solid concrete cellar sit in a waterproof lining making it damp-proof and resilient to temperature changes and vibrations. The cellar can be placed anywhere in your home from the dining room to living area; I suppose you could even put it in your bedroom, if you desired. Of course, the entrance is hidden with a trap door to guard your wine. Now only if Mrs. Grapeinabottle and I can settle on the size of the cellar.
Oh what a magnificent wine cellar you have

I’m originally from GA and there is a winery there that I always enjoy going to. It’s called Chateau Elan and one of my favorite wines was their Summer Wine. It had a hint of peach in it’s flavor. Have you ever tried their wine?
