A National Wine Day? Great Idea!!

national-wine-day-celebration I came across a great site that is dedicated solely to obtaining a single day for wine lovers to toast their passion for wine. You can visit the National Wine Day website and vote on the day you think would be best. The only problem I have with a national wine day is…. shouldn’t every day be wine day? Also I think the name could use some work. National Wine Day sounds so stuffy: maybe Winemas or Winoween would be a better names, for example. Would you get together to drink wine with friends and family, or would wine gifts or costumes of your favorite varietal or winemaker be more appropriate? These are just some ideas floating around in my head, but I definitely think a National Wine Day is a great idea.
